2012 The Organipack® Breakthrough

As the EMK line was gaining traction in professional skin care circles, many new physicians and high-end spas were requesting to incorporate EMK as part of their treatments. Even Dr Travis Lane from “Doctors Show” on CBS took notice and decided to feature EMK’s plant placenta facials on their show. It was EMK’s first appearance on a TV show. Professor Karsh was thrilled by the rise of her skin care line in the media. However, she was by no means interested in just contenting herself with this new success. She had her mind set on something bigger: returning to the lab to create the next generation of plant based formulas.

EMK was featured on the “Doctors Show” on CBS. Dr Andrew Ordonand and Dr Travis Lane can be seen here discussing the benefits of EMK plant placenta facials.

There was one area in particular that was puzzling Professor Karsh. Although, she had been researching epigenetics and biochemistry for years, it seemed that science had made really little progress in understanding how ingredients interact with each other and how their synergy was benefiting skin cells. There was little to no scientific research done in this particular area. Chemists formulating skin care were simply trained to create a formulation with a certain texture and add a few active ingredients or a few plant extracts. There were some existing studies on how each ingredient performed independently, but there was no study analyzing how ingredients acted when combined together. Therefore Professor Karsh decided to get to the bottom of the problem. She set the goal of methodically analyzing the synergy between ingredients within a formula and how this synergy impacted the formula’s efficacy on the skin.

As EMK’s formulas were already being distributed through hundreds of clinics and spas across the US, Professor Karsh saw a unique opportunity to cooperate with physicians and estheticians to research and develop new products. She asked dermatologists and estheticians to test some sample formulas on their patients that featured various concentrations of plant and fruit extracts as well as various combinations of plant and fruit extracts. Then the dermatologists and estheticians methodically monitored the results and reported to Professor Karsh.

The formulas created by EMK are designed to nourish the skin with the best essences from nature. They contain over 150 different natural fruit and plant essential extracts sourced from organic farms whenever possible. EMK’s proprietary process ORGANIPACK invented in 2012, includes natural plant essences with ultra-high content in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and amino acids. They are vital for the proper functioning of skin cells.

Professor Karsh tested several hundred different plant and fruit extracts in several thousands of different combinations. The data feedback loop from skin professionals allowed her to fine-tune the formulas and considerably improve the products efficacy.

This effort lasted 4 years and lead to a breakthroughs for EMK. This resulted in the creation of several new methodologies and processes for compounding plant and fruit extracts in skin care formula. Among them is a process that totally revolutionized natural formulation : Organipack®

Organipack elevated EMK to a new level. No other skin care line had managed to bring to market an equivalent plant extract system. This helped EMK to gain even more prominence throughout doctors offices and estheticians' spas. It resulted in many more high profile customers falling in love with the products. In 2012, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Brandi Glanville was interviewed by “New Beauty Magazine” and she revealed her obsession for EMK. Then in 2013, Life & Style reported Victoria Beckham using the EMK line of products.

2014 EMK Changes Hands

By the year 2013, Professor Emilia Karsh had already fulfilled her dream of inventing some of the most innovative natural formulations in the world. The EMK line had obtained general recognition by several of the most renowned physicians in the United States. Many celebrities were craving the simple, yet ultra-potent EMK treatments. Most importantly, she had provided all men and women in the world an affordable, highly effective solution for maintaining youthful and healthy skin throughout the years.
Gratified by this achievement and having reached the ripe age of 65, she decided to look for a successor who would understand her mission and vision, but also someone who would have the capabilities to bring the brand to new heights. She found this successor in the power couple Jessica Chaijaya & Fabian de Mortier who both had fallen in love with the EMK brand a few years earlier.

After solving the acquisition details, the new owners pledged to keep the same spirit of combining science, nature and quality to bring to the world the next generation of disruptive skin care products. They also made their goal to make this gem of a brand well-known all around the world.
