EMK Heritage Series 3: 2002 - 2004 Launch of a Full Line
By 2002, EMK’s demand was growing in professional channels; and many prominent California estheticians had shared with Emilia Karsh their difficulties finding a product that could solve skin issues with hands. Their clients were facing loss of firmness, skin thinning, discoloration and pigmentation. These problems only grew worse as people aged and available products on the markets were not providing an effective solution.
EMK Heritage Series 2: 1975 - 1992 The Invention of Bioplacenta
Although applying pure placenta on damaged skin provided outstanding results, it seemed all along to make no sense to use human placenta in skin care products. Being passionate about naturally sourced and all plant-based skincare, Emilia Karsh decided to take a whole new direction in her research efforts: how to find a plant-based alternative for the human placental protein? This question was by no means simple to solve and professor Karsh ended up spending most of the following decade researching this matter.
EMK Heritage Series 1: 1973 - 1975 The Early Years
The city of Beverly Hills is an international icon and provides a unique environment loaded with creativity, glamour and fame has long been a magnet for celebrities, royals and magnates of all kinds. Naturally, it became a center for beauty and esthetics. The city is home to some of the most avant-garde skin clinics and spas. From this natural breeding ground, a gem of a skincare company emerged in the 1970s, and is known today as EMK.
EMK sponsored the Prince Charles Trust in London. EMK’s Vice-President Jessica Chaijaya and other EMK VIPs join a dinner to support the organization that helps youth. It was a star-studded night at Buckingham Palace with Amal Clooney and George Clooney and many others to show their support.
EMK’s team and EMK VIP clients can be seen mingling casually with princes and princesses, dukes and duchesses, and other crowned heads from across Europe inside the magnificent 16th century Egmont Palace in Brussels.
